§ 13-7-31 - PERMIT REQUIRED FOR VEHICLE IMMOBILIZATION OPERATORS. (A) A person is prohibited from immobilizing a vehicle for a vehicle immobilization service in the city without a valid vehicle immobilization operator's permit. (B) A licensee is prohibited from employing or otherwise allowing a person to immobilize a vehicle using a boot or other vehicle immobilization equipment owned, controlled, or operated by the licensee unless the person has a valid vehicle immobilization operator's permit. (C) A vehicle immobilization operator permitted under this article must conspicuously wear or display the operator's permit while performing a vehicle immobilization. (Ord.
