1.08.070 - Requiring prisoners to labor. In cases of emergency when the mayor deems that the public safety or welfare requires the labor of persons confined in the city jail for nonpayment of fines, he may order the use of labor of such persons as are physically fit therefor. (Prior code § 1-10)
