SEC. 28-216. ACCOUNTING OF SALE PROCEEDS. The person conducting the sale shall disburse the proceeds of the sale as provided in Section 28-215 and shall provide a written accounting regarding the disposition to the chief of police and, on request, to any person entitled to a share of the proceeds or to any person validly claiming a share of the proceeds, as determined by the chief of police, within 15 days after the sale is conducted.
