SEC. 15D-65. DEFINITIONS. In this article: (1) DIRECTOR means the director of the department designated by the city manager to enforce and administer this article or the director’s authorized representative. (2) PUBLIC SERVICE CORPORATION means a corporation that provides a general public service under a franchise from the city and that has a need to dispatch vehicles to the scene of accidents, fires, explosions, or other disasters on an emergency basis.
