Milwaukee Code of Ordinances § 82-65
in effect82-65. Department Employees not to Vend Weights and Measures.
It shall be unlawful for the commissioner of health or any person employed in the department to vend any weights, measures, scales, scale beams, patent balances, steel yards, automatic or computing scales, or other instruments to be used for the purpose of weighing or measuring, or to offer or expose the same for sale, or be interested directly or indirectly in the sale of the same in the city under a penalty of $50 for every such offense.
