Sec. 279-403. - Maximum monthly pension. For merit deputies of the sheriff's department who are member of the sheriff's pension plan and who retire during the period from January 1, 2006, through December 31, 2006, for purposes of determining such deputies' maximum monthly pension, and pursuant to authority granted by IC 36-8-10-12.1(a), IC 36-8-10-12.1 shall apply instead of IC 36-8-10-12(j).
