Sec. 586. - Use of streets and alleys in building levees, pumping stations, dams, etc. The City of Memphis shall have the right to use any of its streets or alleys or any parts thereof as it may deem necessary in the erection of said levee or levees in building, providing for and equipping said pumping stations, dams, locks, reservoirs and wells. (Acts 1903, ch. 556, § 2)
