4501.13 - Exterior stairway. "Exterior stairway" means one (1) or more flights of stairs on the outside of a building and the necessary landings and platforms connecting them to form a continuous and uninterrupted passage from one (1) floor to another. Standard fire escapes are not included as exterior stairways. (Ord. 356-75.)
