2.51.040 - Creation of Authority. There is created and there now exists a body politic and corporate and a political subdivision of the City to be known as the "Economic Development Authority" of the City. The exercise by the Authority of the powers conferred by this chapter shall be deemed and held to be an essential governmental function of the City. (Ord. 4976 § 2(a), 1981)
