15.16.020-1 - Civil penalty. Any person who violates a provision of the city code relating to point source effluent limitations or the discharge of a pollutant, other than from a nonpoint source, into a sanitary or stormwater sewer system owned or controlled by the city shall be subject to a civil penalty up to a maximum of five thousand dollars per violation. If the violation is a continuous one, each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense. (Ord. 11545 § 2, 1993)
