§ 49-31. - Special provisions for stables. The provisions of this article shall not apply to private or livery stables within the City or to the offal or refuse from animals kept therein, except that manure from private and livery stables shall be placed in suitable receptacles and shall not be dumped in alleys or retained on the premises long enough to cause a nuisance. Such manure shall be hauled from the premises at frequent and regular intervals, and, if so ordered by the Health Department, shall be hauled off promptly. (Code 1970, § 30-14; Code 1980, § 49-31)
