6.60.035 - Auto-pawnbroker license. (A) A pawnbroker must not accept a motor vehicle as pledged property or in any other manner allow the use of a motor vehicle as collateral or security for a loan unless he is licensed as an auto-pawnbroker. (B) An auto-pawnbroker license may only be issued to a person licensed as a pawnbroker as provided in this Code. (C) A pawnbroker shall be issued an auto-pawnbroker license upon payment of the prescribed license fee as provided in this Chapter. (Ord. 3753 § 3, 1993)
