Sec. 6-301. - Purpose and intent. Experience has shown that escort and dating services are frequently fronts for prostitution. Experience has also shown that applicants for an escort, dating service or similar type business privilege license under chapter 13 of this Code frequently provide false information. It is the intent of this article to ensure that owners and operators of escort and dating services provide accurate and verifiable information about the business and to establish accountability for any attempt to use an escort or dating service as a front for prostitution.
