313-15. Director of Fire and Police Alarm System. The director of the department of public works operations division shall be the director of the police and fire alarm systems of the city, and shall have entire control and management of the construction, maintenance, repair work and maintenance related operation of the fire and police alarm systems, and all related records, apparatus, instruments, wires, cables, batteries, telephones, and signal stations, and shall see that the systems are at all times kept in proper working order.
