7.08.080 - Receipt and tag issuance—Replacement. Each person paying the license fee under Section 7.08.060 shall receive a receipt stating the amount, date of payment, a brief description of the animal and, except as provided in Section 7.08.090(C), a numbered license tag of a durable material. If the tag is lost, the owner shall, within ten days from the date of the discovery of loss, procure a new numbered tag and pay the fee of five dollars therefor.
