Sec. 50-2. - Definition. Subdivision, for the purposes of this chapter, shall mean the division of land into two (2) or more lots, blocks, tracts, plots or sites for the purpose of development. This term includes resubdivision, and when appropriate to the context, shall relate to the process of subdividing or to the land being subdivided. Any division of land ordered by a court or that creates cemetery plots shall not be deemed a subdivision. (Code 1950, § 651.3-1)
