§ 2-492 License Application Requirements. (a) Self-storage facility operator licenses expire on April 1 in even numbered years. (b) An application for a self-storage facility license includes the Department’s basic license application and any other documents or information the Department requires. (c) A self-storage facility operator must obtain a separate license for each premises where it operates a self-storage facility in the City of New York, notwithstanding common ownership or operation of multiple self-storage facilities. The self-storage facility operator license issued by the Department shall include the address of the self-storage facility premises to which it pertains. (Added City Record 8/18/2026, eff. 9/17/2026)
