2.78.010 - Establishment of the Code of Ethics and Conduct. Pursuant to Article 11, sections 5(a) and 7 of the California Constitution and Sections 200 and 202 of the Charter of the City of Riverside, there is hereby established by the City Council of the City of Riverside a Code of Ethics and Conduct for the Mayor, members of the City Council, and all members of appointed boards, commissions and committees which shall assure public confidence in the integrity of local government and its effective and fair operation.
