"Passenger terminal" means a facility or location where the principal use is the handling, receiving and transfer of passenger traffic, and may include as an accessory use the loading, unloading, storing, receiving, assembling, dispatching, weighing, consolidating, classifying, switching, distribution, movement or transfer of freight, as well as all equipment and facilities utilized to accomplish the foregoing activities. For purposes of this definition, a facility that handles the transport of passengers, by any vehicle type, for any public, private or parochial school shall not be considered to be a passenger terminal.
