Sec. 10-37-1. - Mandatory registration. Pursuant to T.C.A., § 40-39-217, any sexual offender or violent sexual offender, as defined by T.C.A., § 40-39-202, residing in the City of Memphis must register with the Memphis Police Department and pay to the police department a notification fee of $50.00 per year.
