Sec. 54-722. - Issuance of permits; rules and regulations. Permits for oversize moves shall be issued only if the city traffic engineer determines that the oversize moves can be moved over a proposed route with proper regard for the safety and welfare of all persons and property. The city traffic engineer is authorized to adopt rules and regulations to ensure the safe and efficient movement of oversize moves, and to ensure that all persons, agencies or corporations which might be affected by oversize moves, herein termed "affected agencies," are adequately notified of such impending oversize moves.
