Sec. 54-723. - Fees. The city traffic engineer is authorized to levy fees for an oversize move commensurate with the services provided, including but not limited to an application fee, an investigation fee and fees to compensate for escort personnel, vehicles, equipment and materials, and fees to compensate for damages to public property attributed to an oversize move. The city traffic engineer shall from time-to-time examine the actual cost of administering applications, permit investigations and other application review costs, and thereupon revise fees to recover city cost. The amount of the fee shall not exceed the actual city cost. (Code 1950, § 525.1-6(3); Ord. No. 477-00, § 1, 6-19-00)
