§ 20-66. - Denial. When the Fire Marshal determines that an applicant is not fit to receive the certificate of fitness because of the applicant's inability to comply with the provisions of this article, the Fire Marshal shall refuse to issue the certificate of fitness. If the refusal is based upon the applicant's inability to pass a written examination, which is given to determine competency, the applicant may not apply again for the certificate of fitness within a ten-day period following the examination.
