Las Vegas Municipal Code § 1.06.010 Adopted.

1.06.010 - Adopted. The oath of office which is set forth in this section is hereby adopted and designated as the official oath of office of the city. OATH OF OFFICE I, ___________ do solemnly swear that I will support, protect and defend the Constitution and Government of the United States, and the Constitution and Government of the State of Nevada, against all enemies, whether domestic or foreign, and that I will bear true faith, allegiance and loyalty to the same, any ordinance, resolution or law of any state notwithstanding; and, further, I am not under any direct or indirect obligation to vote for, appoint or elect any person to any office, position or employment in the City government of the City of Las Vegas; and, further, that I will faithfully perform the duties of the office of ___________ in the City of Las Vegas, Nevada, on which I am about to enter, so help me God; and, further, that I am now a bona fide resident at the address shown herein and I will immediately notify the City of Las Vegas of any change of residence during my term of office. Las Vegas Municipal Code § 1.06.020 Board, commission and committee members—Required.

1.06.020 - Board, commission and committee members—Required. Each person who is appointed as a member of any of the several boards, commissions and committees of the City shall, before entering upon the duties of his office, take and subscribe to the official oath of office. (Ord. 3186 § 3, 1985)

Las Vegas Municipal Code § 1.06.030 Board, commission and committee members—Renewal.

1.06.030 - Board, commission and committee members—Renewal. Whenever a member of any of the several boards, commissions and committees of the City has taken and subscribed to the official Oath of Office, as in Section 1.06.020 required, he shall not thereafter be required again to take and subscribe to the oath as long as he remains in the same position, notwithstanding any intervening expiration of his term. (Ord. 3186 § 4, 1985)
