§129.0209 Change of Architect or Engineer of Record If the circumstances require and in accordance with state law, the applicant or permit holder may designate a substitute architect or engineer of record licensed by the State of California who shall perform all of the duties required of the original architect or engineer of record. The Building Official shall be notified in writing by the applicant or permit holder if the architect or engineer of record is changed or is unable to continue to perform the duties.
