El Paso City Code § 12.64.010 Airway Boulevard.

12.64.010 - Airway Boulevard. A. The department of transportation is authorized to construct a barrier across the alley located at the west end of Avalon Drive, at its intersection with Airway Boulevard, so as to prevent vehicular travel from the alley into Airway Boulevard, and to erect appropriate warning signs of the dead end. B. When such barrier is erected no person shall operate a vehicle from the alley into Airway Boulevard or from Airway Boulevard into the alley. C. Any person violating subsection B of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished as provided in Sections 1.08.010 through 1.08.030. El Paso City Code § 12.64.020 Findley Avenue.

12.64.020 - Findley Avenue. A. No person shall operate any vehicle on that part of Findley Avenue lying between the northerly right-of-way line of Paisano Drive and the following described line lying across Findley Avenue: A straight line, perpendicular to the northerly right-of-way line of Findley Avenue, and extending from a point in said northerly right-of-way line of Findley Avenue (which point is approximately 218 feet along said right-of-way line, westerly from the westerly right-of-way line of Stevens Street) to the northerly right-of-way line of Paisano Drive. B. The department of transportation is authorized to erect a barrier against vehicular traffic along the above-described line across Findley Avenue, and the department of transportation is authorized to erect such sign or signs as may be appropriate to give notice of the dead end of Findley Avenue at such line. C. Any person violating subsection A of this section shall be punished as provided in Section 12.84.010. (Ord 13062 § 11, 1997; prior code § 20-176.5) (Ord. El Paso City Code § 12.64.030 Controlled access highways.

12.64.030 - Controlled access highways. No person shall operate any bicycle, motor scooter, motorcycle of less than five brake horse-power, or vehicle drawn by any animal, on any controlled access highway within the city; or go thereon as a pedestrian; or ride any animal thereon. El Paso City Code § 12.64.040 Sahara Lane.

12.64.040 - Sahara Lane. A. No person shall operate any vehicle on that part of Sahara Lane lying between the Dyer Street-Loop 375 curbline and the following described line lying across Sahara Lane: A straight line joining the southwest corner of Lot 15, Block 1, Sahara Subdivision, and a point in the south right-of-way line of Sahara Lane which is 35 feet westerly from the northeast corner of Lot 16, Block 2, Sahara Subdivision. B. The department of transportation is authorized to erect a barrier against vehicular traffic along the above-described line lying across Sahara Lane, and the department of transportation is authorized to erect such warning sign or signs as may be appropriate to give notice of the dead end of Sahara Lane at such line. C. Any person violating subsection A of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished as provided in Sections 1.08.010 through 1.08.030. El Paso City Code § 12.64.050 Seventh Avenue.

12.64.050 - Seventh Avenue. A. The international boundary and water commission is authorized to construct suitable barricades and appropriate warning signs at the following locations, the design of such barricades and signs to be subject to approval by the traffic engineer: 1. Across the alley in Block E of the Santa Fe Addition, along the line at which part of the alley was vacated by Ordinance No. 3630, passed and approved October 6, 1966; 2. Across Seventh Avenue along each side of the area in which the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway Company and the Rio Grande, El Paso and Santa Fe Railroad Company are authorized to operate across Seventh Avenue by Ordinance No. 3704, passed and approved March 16, 1967. B. When the barricades at the locations described in subsection A1 of this section or either of such locations, are erected, such barricaded area shall be deemed closed to traffic; and it shall be unlawful to drive any vehicle, ride any animal, or go on foot from the open part of the alley into the vacated and barricaded part of the alley, or to drive any vehicle, ride any animal, or go on foot from the open part of Seventh Avenue into the barricaded railroad crossing, or to drive, ride or go on foot across the railroad crossing. C. Any person violating subsection A2 of this section shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and punished as provided in Section 1.08.010 through 1.08.030.
