SEC. 32-11.2. HANG-GLIDERS, PARA-SAILS, PARA-KITES, PARACHUTES, AND SIMILAR DEVICES PROHIBITED; DEFENSE. (a) A person commits an offense if, within or above any park or recreation area under the management responsibility of the park board, he operates a hang-glider, para-sail, para-kite, parachute, or similar device capable of supporting the weight of a person above ground or water level. (b) It is a defense to prosecution under Subsection (a) that the person has obtained written permission from the park board, or a designated representative, authorizing a special event. (Ord. 18745)
