Sec. 591-431. - Means of egress illumination and signs. (a) Means of egress illumination shall be provided and maintained in accordance with the 676 IAC 13. Means of egress shall be illuminated and exit signs shall be maintained when the building or structure is occupied. (b) Any replacement of exit signs in existing buildings or structures or installation of additional exit signs shall meet the requirements of 675 IAC 13. (c) Equipment providing emergency power for means of egress illumination and exit signs shall be maintained in an operable condition. (G.O. 43, 2002, § 2)
