Sec. 324.801. - Protective shield. When oxygen cutting is done within 35 feet of combustible material or when welding or cutting is done above combustible material, forms or construction or above a place where workers are employed or where persons are likely to pass, noncombustible shields shall be interposed to protect the materials and persons against sparks and hot metal or slag.
