Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 12-67 Applications and permits.

§ 12-67. - Applications and permits. The Development Services Department shall receive applications, review construction documents, and issue permits for the erection, alterations, demolition, and moving of buildings and/or structures. The Chief Building Inspector or assistants shall inspect the premises for which such permits have been issued and enforce compliance with the provisions of this Code. (Ord. No. 24439, § II, 4-3-12)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 12-68 Permits required in advance.

§ 12-68. - Permits required in advance. Prior to commencement of any work on a building or structure, the authorized person shall secure a permit and pay the City Treasurer the inspection fee in full. Any person who commences any work on a building or structure that requires a permit before obtaining the necessary permits shall be subject to a penalty as established in Section 12-57. (Ord. Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 12-70 Revocation of permit.

§ 12-70. - Revocation of permit. The Chief Building Inspector, Development Services Director, or designated representative shall revoke a permit or approval issued under the provisions of this chapter in case of any false statement or misrepresentation of fact in the application or plans on which the permit or approval was based. Any person aggrieved by said decision may appeal pursuant with Section 12-132. (Ord. No. 24439, § II, 4-3-12)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 12-71 Unlawful continuance of work.

§ 12-71. - Unlawful continuance of work. No person shall continue any building work in or about a structure after having been served with a stop work order, except such work as that person shall be directed to perform by the Chief Building Inspector or assistant in order to correct a violation or unsafe condition.
