2501.18 - Hotel and SRO Facility 2501.18.1 Causing fire through negligence in places of assembly or lodging. No person shall in the city, in any hotel, motel, rooming house, lodging house, apartment house, tenement house, convalescent home, hospital, child care facility, or similar place, by means whatsoever, through carelessness, neglect or negligence, set fire to, or cause the burning of, any bedding, furniture, rug, curtain, drape or other household furnishing, fitting or any other part of said buildings or premises in such a manner as to endanger the safety of any person or property.
