2.01 SCOPE. (a) For the purpose of this code, certain words and terms shall be construed as defined in this section and as defined elsewhere in this code; however, any such words and terms not so specifically defined shall be construed in light of the comprehensive zoning ordinance, the building code or as a trade term. (b) Unless otherwise expressly stated, the following words and terms shall, for the purposes of this code, have the meanings indicated in this code.
