Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 54-31 Required.

§ 54-31. - Required. (a) No person shall engage in the business of dealing in used trailers or secondhand or used automobiles or used automobile parts, or merchandise salvage, either by purchasing, selling, offering for sale, trading or exchanging such trailers or automobiles or parts or salvage, without a license issued by the Supervisor of Licenses. (b) If a person carries on at the same place, under the same management, the business of secondhand automobile dealer and automobile salvage dealer and secondhand automobile parts and accessory dealer, or any two of the named businesses, then only one license shall be required, but the licensee shall be required to make the reports and keep the record required by law for each of the businesses. Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 54-32 Application.

§ 54-32. - Application. A person who is required by the provisions of this division to obtain a license shall make application to the Supervisor of Licenses upon a form furnished by the Supervisor of Licenses giving the information required upon the form. (Code 1980, § 54-32)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 54-33 Fee.

§ 54-33. - Fee. A person making application for the license required by this division shall pay the fee as established in Chapter 60, the General Schedule of Fees. (Code 1970, §§ 9-31, 9-40; Code 1980, § 54-33)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 54-34 Bond.

§ 54-34. - Bond. (a) Every person applying for the license required by the provisions of Section 54-31(a) to engage in or carry on the business of an automobile or merchandise salvage dealer shall, before such a license is issued to him, enter into a bond with the City with approved sureties in the penal sum of $1,000.00 conditioned that the applicant shall strictly observe all laws and ordinances regulating the licensed business, and will pay all costs, fines and penalties incurred on account of his failure or neglect in that regard, and will pay all damages resulting to any person by reason of the dealer wrongfully purchasing or receiving any stolen property or the property of any minor. (b) The bond shall be filed with the City Clerk and may be sued upon by any person damaged as aforesaid in the name of the City for the benefit of such person, but in no event shall the City be liable for the costs of such suit. Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 54-35 Term.

§ 54-35. - Term. A license issued pursuant to the provisions of this division shall expire as provided in Section 26-11, unless sooner suspended or revoked. (Code 1980, § 54-35)

Oklahoma City Municipal Code § 54-36 Revocation.

§ 54-36. - Revocation. Upon conviction of any violation of this article, the dealer, in addition to the fine or imprisonment otherwise provided as a penalty, may be deprived of his license to operate as such automobile or merchandise salvage dealer or dealer in secondhand or used automobile parts and accessories. The order of revocation of the license shall be made by the municipal judge upon conviction, or upon conviction becoming final. (Code 1970, § 9-39(b); Code 1980, § 54-36)
