§ 12.5-525 PURPOSE. Pursuant to Tex. Administrative Code Title 30, § 290.44, it is the responsibility of the city to protect its drinking water supply by instituting and enforcing a cross-connection program. The purpose of this division, therefore, is to comply with the above-cited regulatory requirements and to protect the water supply of the city from contamination or pollution due to any cross-connections.
