7.42.020 - Permit required. (A) No pet shop within the City shall sell any dog or cat unless it first obtains a permit to do so. The permit shall be in addition to the professional animal handler permit required of a pet shop pursuant to LVMC Chapter 7.40. (B) The Animal Regulation Officer is authorized to charge an annual permit fee of five hundred dollars. (Ord. No. 6623, § 4, 6-20-18)
