2329.03 - Prohibited interment. (A) No person shall bury any dead human body within the city. (B) This section shall not apply whenever the burial is made upon the premises for which a special permit has been issued under the zoning regulations for a cemetery; nor shall this section apply to existing cemeteries in lands annexed to the city subsequent to the effective date of this section. (C) Whoever violates this section is guilty of prohibited interment, a misdemeanor of the third degree. (D) Strict liability is intended to be imposed for a violation of this section. (Ord. 2535-94.)
