Sec. 5.111.6. Receipt of Gifts and Bequests of Personal Property. (a) Gifts and bequests of personal property to be utilized by the Department on Disability shall be submitted to the Director or the Director’s designee for acceptance or rejection. (b) Title to all personal property accepted on behalf of the City by the Director or the Director’s designee shall be vested and held in the name of the City of Los Angeles. (c) The Director shall cause all gifts of personal property and all items of personal property purchased through use of money from the Fund to be properly registered and reported to the Controller as requested in the City’s equipment Inventory System.
