Sec. 7-56. - Exception for private dances, etc. The provisions of this article shall in no way interfere with private parties given in public or parochial schools or at homes of people or with dances given by societies or corporations where the attendance is restricted to the members of the society and their friends, or of the club or corporation and not continued for a consecutive number of days or nights.
