Sec. 877. - Contest of election; when election returns to be canvassed. There shall be no contest of the election hereinabove directed to be held, unless proceedings to contest any such election are taken prior to the canvass of the returns by the commissioners of election. The said election returns shall be canvassed upon Monday of the week following any election provided for in this Act. (Priv. Acts 1935, ch. 108, § 10, 1st Spec. Sess.)
