§ 17.1-7. Criminal penalties. Any person who participates or aids in any manner in the evasion of the tax levied and imposed by this subtitle or who willfully violates any provision of this subtitle or of the rules and regulations adopted under this subtitle is guilty of a misdemeanor and, on conviction, is subject to a fine of not more than $500 for each offense.
