Sec. 7-67. - Acceptance of property delivered by shopping cart. It shall be unlawful for any metal recycler or his agents or employees acting on his behalf to purchase or receive property that is transported to the metal recycler's place of business by a shopping cart that is marked with any form of the name or initials of a private company or that the metal recycler knows or should reasonably know belongs to a private company unless the person operating the shopping cart presents at the time of transportation of the property to the metal recycler appropriate documentation evidencing the purchase or other lawful transfer of the shopping cart by or to the person operating the shopping cart.
