SEC. 34-33. LIFE INSURANCE. (a) Every permanent employee is a participant in the group life insurance program. The city will pay the full cost of the basic term life insurance coverage for a permanent full-time employee and one-half the cost for a permanent part-time employee. (b) An employee has the option to elect additional life insurance coverage. The employee shall pay the full cost of additional life insurance coverage. (Ord. Nos. 19340; 24873)
