Sec. 633. - Meetings; quorum; salary of Chairman. The said commission shall hold regular meetings each month at a definite time to be fixed by resolution of the Memphis and Shelby County Port Commission, and such special meetings as may be necessary for the transaction of business shall be held. A majority of the commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business at any regular or special meeting. The Chairman shall receive a salary not exceeding $1,800.00 per annum, to be fixed by the Board of Commissioners of the City of Memphis and the Quarterly County Court of Shelby County. (Priv. Acts 1947, ch. 500, § 2)
