111.26 - Demand for yeas and nays. When demanded by any member of council, and seconded by another, the yeas and nays shall be taken on the adoption of any resolution or ordinance or any question or proposition submitted to the council; and in taking the yeas and nays, the clerk shall call the names of the members of council in alphabetical order, except the name of the president shall be called last; and before the result is announced, upon demand of any member of council, the clerk shall read the votes so taken.
