Sec. 47-563. - Vehicle spot inspection. Transporters' registered vehicles traveling city streets are subject to stops and inspections by peace officers as provided by law. A peace officer may call upon a health officer for technical assistance in conducting the inspection. Transporters shall so advise their drivers. Unless a truck is out of compliance, it shall not be detained longer than one hour by the peace officer. (Ord. No. 97-196, § 4, 2-19-97)
