Sec. 47-171. - Violations. Any person who shall lay or connect into main without a utility construction permit or contract from the city shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, ;b0;which shall be punishable by a fine not to exceed $500.00. Each day that the connection is suffered or allowed to exist shall constitute a separate offense. In addition, the department shall disconnect any such unpermitted connection from the city main or otherwise terminate utility services. (Ord. No. 96-1248, § 1, 11-26-96)
