Sec. 18-378. - Employment tax; collection of; salary deductions. The Social Security plan shall be effective with respect to all services performed after January 1, 1951, by such employees and officers of the city. Such employees' tax upon wages and salaries earned after November 1, 1953, shall be deducted from wages and salaries. The manager of finance is hereby authorized and directed to make such deductions from wages and salaries. (Code 1950, § 142.30-3; Ord. No. 775-07, § 25, 12-26-07)
