Sec. 26-706. - Removal of vehicle. A parking compliance officer or personnel designated by the police chief may authorize the towing of a vehicle parked in a tow-away zone restricted to parking by permit only in violation of this article, and in the event of such tow, the police department shall be the responsible law enforcement agency for purposes of section 8-117 of this Code.
