Sec. 16-61. - Jurisdiction. The municipal courts department shall have original jurisdiction over cases involving violations of city ordinances enumerated in articles II, IV, VI, XI, and XII and division 1 of article III of chapter 26 of this Code and of offenses involving the parking or stopping of a vehicle that arise under the Fire Code of the city.
