388.1767a. Plan to reduce expulsions and suspensions that exceed 10 days; implementation. Sec. 167a. A district is encouraged to implement a plan to reduce pupil expulsions and suspensions that exceed 10 days. It is the intent of the legislature that a district that has not implemented a plan to reduce pupil expulsions and suspensions that exceed 10 days will be subject to forfeiture of a portion of its total state school aid. Add. 2016, Act 249, Eff. Oct. 1, 2016 [Compiler] Former MCL 388.1767a, which pertained to funds held in escrow, was repealed by Act 130 of 1995, Eff. Oct. 1, 1995.
